The position

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you play a leading role in driving continuous improvement across all departments in SoOp, consistently enhancing cross-functional processes, pinpointing bottlenecks, and working towards their reduction or elimination.

Some of your key tasks include:

  • Developing and maintaining process-focused operations within Raw or Packaging value stream in SoOp
  • Planning strategically and executing value stream mappings to tackle bottlenecks and address issues
  • Coaching and developing local process responsibles in adopting a process-focused mindset, facilitating process improvement, and managing data effectively
  • Seeking proactively creative methods to enhance process-focused operations, actively exploring new ways to drive continuous improvement
  • Serving as a subject matter expert, providing expertise and guidance on SoOp processes

The primary workplace is located in Hillerød, where our main stakeholders are based. The office space will be in Bagsværd until December 2024, at which point we will move to Taastrup.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, we imagine you:

  • Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, supply chain, or a related discipline
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in improvement projects, including holding a black belt or solid expertise in improvement programs
  • Demonstrate a track record of Value Stream Mapping experience on a factory level
  • Showcase outstanding skills in stakeholder management and coaching
  • Display proficiency in both written and spoken English

About the department

As Supply Chain Specialist, you will be part of the Strategy and Business Development department, which drives the strategic development and distribution of SoOp – that has the overall responsibility for the incoming supply chain in Novo Nordisk – consisting of 400 dedicated team members.
