The position

As New Product Supply professional, you will

  • Participate in product development projects or products upgrades across the organization.
  • Gather documentation to qualify new products and suppliers according to GMP.
  • Handle multiple parallel scenarios of product implementations and/or process optimisations.
  • Initiate, scope and manage change requests along with risk analysis and handle deviations.
  • Develop inbound supply concepts ensuring an efficient, flexible, yet robust incoming flow at the lowest possible cost, not jeopardizing existing supply flows.
  • Negotiate contractual terms, preliminary order forecasts and order sizes.
  • Bring innovative process improvements and digitalisation proposals to the team and actively participate in or lead their implementation.

Your role safeguards the successful transfer from project phase to operations phase to ensure the reliability of the inbound supply. This requires contributing to improving and/or driving the setup via communication, transparency, KPIs, processes, SAP settings etc. Strong collaboration with key internal stakeholders including Sales, Manufacturing, Manufacturing Development, Warehousing, QC, QA, Process Support, Business Support along with several departments at Novo Nordisk e.g. Warehousing and Strategic Sourcing is a prerequisite.

The Department

You will become part of a team of 9 Inbound Supply colleagues, who are responsible for vendor management of all raw materials (chemicals and packaging) and process aids for production and CMOs. The team is likewise responsible for supply and qualification of new materials and/or suppliers in relation to product launches. The Inbound Supply team is part of the Supply Chain Management department covering likewise Warehousing, Indirect Procurement and Production Planning.

The job is located in the northern part of Køge, just 20 min. drive south of Greater Copenhagen area.

No travel expected.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we imagine you have

  • Master’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, business administration, procurement, manufacturing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of pertinent work experience in supplier management, supply chain management and/or production - including sourcing, supplier selection, negotiation, and contract administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive process improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
  • Respectful communication aiming at finding consensus in case of colliding points of view.
  • Strong drive and enjoying setting direction as well as being capable of prioritising tasks and planning ahead.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, along with experience of LEAN tools.
  • Experience writing or participating in handling change requests and deviations in a GMP environment.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English
