Come and join the Purification Plants (PP) Project Office - We have an open position for an IT Project Manager for investment projects to manage all our IT Life Cycle Management projects in close collaboration with our IT team.

The position

As an IT Project Manager, your primary role will be to ensure that scope, time, cost, and quality are on track in the projects that you are responsible for. You will be in charge of strategic investment projects according to our IT and automation systems, ranging in size and complexity, from design phases to execution and validation for final handover to our key stakeholders and owners in Purification Plants.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Driving projects independently throughout their entire lifecycle within our IT portfolio roadmap
  • Planning, executing, and following up on all related tasks/processes related to scope, schedule, resources, cost, quality, and project risk
  • As a natural part of your projects, you will be in close dialogue with different departments in our IT team, Automation team, line of business, and other levels of management on our production site, as well as external vendors
  • Making presentations at steering committee meetings

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you need to have project management skills and a proven ability to network, build trust in your relationships, and get commitment from internal and external stakeholders. Curiosity and eagerness to challenge the status quo in a respectful manner are natural parts of your skill set to ensure pragmatic solutions are presented quickly.

You can be an experienced project manager from a GMP-regulated industry, or a project engineer, looking for the next step in your career.

We imagine that a successful candidate has:

  • An educational background as an engineer or similar. You may also come with an IT background or have a relevant academic education
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management with implementation of IT or Automation systems, experience within the pharmaceutical industry or from a consulting company will be a plus
  • A track record of leadership that has resulted in a smooth and cooperative process within projects and with stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills in English, as well as the ability to create clear, high-quality presentation materials

On a personal level, you are a self-starter who thrives in driving tasks independently. You have excellent analytical, planning, and organization skills enabling you to continuously set direction, keep an overview of the state of progress, and prioritize accordingly. With your strong logical ability, you succeed in transforming complex information from the scoping phase to execution and completion. It is crucial that you never compromise on quality, standards, and safety.
