Global Head of HR

DBI Plastics Group A/S is a family-owned global company developing protective solutions for all major players in the highly complex and competitive automotive industry as well as for major global machine and engineering customers. We have production facilities in Stenmagle and Swidnica (Poland) and have sales offices in Shanghai (China) and Detroit (U.S.A.). Additionally, we have sales teams based throughout Europe and Mexico. Globally, we are 190 employees.

Our objective is to achieve substantial growth in the coming years by transitioning into a flat, agile organizational structure. This transformation aims to enhance our business focus and profitability.

The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Global Head of HR to act as a trusted HR partner across multiple regions, providing both strategic and hands-on support.

As our Global Head of HR, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our HR policies and operations are up to par and in compliance with professional standards governing our industry. Additionally, you will support our leaders and employees in their professional development as we move forward in our transformative activities and implementation of improved processes and structure throughout our company. You will report to our newly appointed Managing Director and will become a member of our global management team.

Key Responsibilities

HR Management - Operational HR Excellence (Primary Focus)

  • Drive, support and maintain and develop the HR ecosystem, focusing on end-2-end HR lifecycle from recruitment, contract management, onboarding, development, and off-boarding processes.
  • Ability to apply legal know-how within all aspects of employment law, i.e., collective agreements, salary policy/regulation, EU-regulation, etc.).
  • Be responsible for Health and safety across our locations and production facilities.
  • Provide guidance within employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to local labor laws and internal policies in cooperation with local management.
  • Taking on ownership for all HR-related processes.

Organizational Development

  • Contribute to developing and implementing global HR programs, frameworks, and processes.
  • Support leadership teams with coaching and organizational development initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for improving employee engagement, culture, and leadership capability.

HR Strategy & Business Partnership

  • Act as a strategic sparring partner to leaders across countries and business units.
  • Provide insights and data-driven recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Champion a consistent, modern People & Culture mindset across the organization.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of HR experience, preferably from international or matrix-based organizations.
  • Broad HR generalist toolbox covering both operational HR tasks and strategic development.
  • Strong knowledge of global HR practices, employment legislation, and cross-cultural collaboration.
  • Proven ability to manage complex HR cases with discretion and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Danish.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

As we have facilities in several countries you will need to travel 40-50 days pr year.
