UV Medico develops and manufactures advanced Far-UVC (222 nm) technology for continuous decontamination of air and surfaces in occupied spaces. Our solutions are deployed globally to reduce bacteria and viruses in environments where infection control is critical—hospitals, pharmaceutical cleanrooms, food production, agriculture, and public facilities.

Demand for more technical, application-specific solutions is increasing. To support this growth, we are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer who can work at the intersection of engineering, microbiology, and solution sales.

This position is based in our commercial office in Copenhagen and involves close collaboration with both Danish and international customers and partners.

The Position

As a Technical Sales Engineer at UV Medico, you will focus on project-based sales of technical disinfection solutions. The role requires translating customer challenges into practical Far-UVC implementations.

You will work closely with customers, distributors, and our internal development team to design and deliver solutions that address real infection control problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical advisory on Far-UVC air and surface decontamination systems
  • Analyze customer requirements related to infection control and contamination risks
  • Develop customer-specific solutions together with our R&D team
  • Prepare technical proposals, system concepts, and solution documentation
  • Participate in technical meetings with customers, partners, and integrators
  • Provide technical support and guidance to international distributors

You will work with customers across industries where microbial contamination is a critical challenge, including:

  • Hospitals and healthcare environments
  • Pharmaceutical and cleanroom facilities
  • Food production and processing
  • Agriculture and biosecurity applications

Your Profile

You have a technical background combined with an understanding in biological or microbiological challenges.

For example:

  • Engineering degree in electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or similar
  • Experience or interest in areas such as microbiology, biotechnology, or infection control is an advantage.

You likely also:

  • Have experience or strong interest in technical or project-based sales
  • Can translate technical capabilities into practical customer solutions
  • Are interested in challenges related to bacteria, viruses, and disinfection technologies
  • Work in a structured and solution-oriented manner, managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Speak and write fluent English
