IT Infrastructure Engineer

You’ll be a part of our Core Infrastructure department with 4 colleagues in Denmark, one in Sweden and one in Slovakia who develop and maintain the Core infrastructure across the whole organisation.

Your primary workplace will be at our office in Herning, where the team is located alongside more than 30 colleagues from Digital Solutions. We offer flexible working conditions with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week, and we also have an office in Horsens

We collaborate closely with more than 140 colleagues in our Digital Solutions organization across several European locations.

This is what you will be doing

Your daily tasks can include:

  • Managing and optimizing our hybrid IT infrastructure (Azure, Microsoft, VMware VCF)
  • Collaborating with your architect colleagues to develop and implement new solutions
  • Participate in Mergers & Acquisitions projects within your defined technical areas

This is your background

We expect that you have at least five years practical experience in IT infrastructure operation, along with the ability to take lead within your defined technology areas. Furthermore, we expect that you:

  • A relevant educational background at bachelor level, or equivalent professional experience
  • Possess the ability to manage tasks and smaller projects, effectively leading and collaborating with colleagues
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure within the area of Infrastructure
  • Strong collaboration skills and solid stakeholder management abilities
  • A broad IT understanding and fluency in English

We also welcome applications from candidates who have gained at least five years of relevant experience working with backend IT infrastructure in larger environments.
