Marketing & Communications Specialist

Location: Nørresundby, Aalborg – or Remote UK

About the Role

We are looking for a Marketing & Communications Specialist who can strengthen our market position while contributing directly to measurable growth.

This role sits at the intersection of Marcom and Digital Marketing, bringing together brand management, digital performance, and demand generation. You will own the day-to-day execution of marketing activities while ensuring all initiatives contribute to pipeline growth, strengthen sales enablement, and support our long-term positioning within the healthcare imaging sector.

You will work closely with the Marketing & Communication Lead and collaborate with sales and operational teams to ensure marketing activities are aligned with commercial priorities and deliver tangible business impact.

A genuine interest and curiosity in understanding the healthcare imaging industry is essential in this role. We expect you to actively build insights into customers, solutions, and industry dynamics in order to create relevant, credible, and engaging communication.

Key Responsibilities:

This is not a purely content-focused position. It’s a hands-on role with strategic influence. You must be comfortable moving between messaging, campaigns, analytics, and optimisation - and understand how marketing translates into measurable impact in a B2B medical technology environment.

Brand & Market Positioning

  • Strengthen and protect our brand across all communication channels – ensuring consistency.
  • Develop and coordinate content across LinkedIn, website, email, campaign materials, and PR initiatives.
  • Translate commercial topics into credible, engaging communication.

Digital Performance & Demand Generation

  • Plan, execute, and optimize digital campaigns across Google Ads, SEO, LinkedIn, and email marketing.
  • Contribute to qualified lead generation and pipeline growth across key markets.
  • Support segmentation and targeting strategies aligned with commercial priorities.
  • Improve conversion rates across website, landing pages, and lead flows.
  • Continuously test, learn, and refine channel performance to optimize results.

Growth, Performance and Commercial Insight

  • Drive sustainable growth by monitoring and improving funnel performance, conversion rates, and cost per lead.
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign, channel, and activity ROI, translating data into clear, actionable improvements.
  • Create visibility into marketing’s contribution to commercial growth and pipeline development.
  • Support lead-nurturing initiatives in close collaboration with sales to strengthen conversion and long-term value.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Strong and credible market presence within healthcare imaging.
  • Clear contribution to inbound lead generation and pipeline visibility.
  • Improved cost efficiency and conversion across digital channels.
  • Marketing recognised internally as a commercial growth partner.
  • Consistent, engaging, credible market positioning within healthcare imaging.

What We’re Looking For:

Mindset & Approach

  • A driven and proactive self-starter who naturally takes ownership.
  • Comfortable operating independently while aligning closely with commercial objectives.
  • Able to move confidently between messaging, campaigns, analytics, and optimisation.
  • Structured and organised, with the ability to prioritise what creates real impact.
  • Confident communicator across teams.
  • Motivated by continuous improvement and measurable results.

Experience & Background

  • Minimum 3 years of B2B marketing experience (experience in medical sectors is a plus).
  • Proven experience working with performance-driven digital channels.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of SEO, paid media, email marketing, and content strategy.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Mailchimp, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Salesforce CRM.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of longer B2B sales cycles.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a growth-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare or medical technology industry is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud is beneficial but not essential.
