QEHS Professional (12-month maternity cover)

As our new colleague, you will get an opportunity to further develop and implement our Quality Management System – writing SOPs, ensuring ways of working are implemented, and developing tools to document quality activities.

This is a 12-month, fixed term position to cover for one of our colleagues, who will be on maternity leave.

Unibio has developed a planet-friendly fermentation technology to produce protein; Uniprotein®. Based on methane, and using our patented technology, we can produce high quality protein making it possible to feed the world’s growing population without devastating the ecosystems.

Our headquarters are in Roskilde, close to Copenhagen, and our Innovation Centre and pilot facilities are in Kalundborg.

Welcome to the QEHS team

As our new QEHS Professional, you can look forward to becoming part of the QEHS team based in Kalundborg, with the opportunity to work some days in Roskilde.

Our team is responsible for implementing the Quality Management Systems needed in our Innovation Centre, and we are currently developing and implementing new ways of working in collaboration with our stakeholders.

We work closely together with colleagues across the organisation and support each other to achieve our goals.

In this role, you will:

  • Support further development of our QMS system and document management system
  • Develop, implement and maintain systems, tools and procedures to secure compliance with certifications and internal requirements within QEHS
  • Implement and maintain system to handle non-conformities and corrective actions in production
  • Conduct site inspections and take part in internal and external audits
  • Manage regulatory and FSMS requirements for raw materials, documentation on ingredients and suppliers, raw material alerts etc.

We imagine that you:

  • Have an education within food/feed safety, process/chemical/biochemical engineering or similar.
  • Have a quality and safety mindset in everything you do.
  • Thrive in a developing company where agendas can shift rapidly.
  • Communicate fluently in written and spoken English, and preferably, Danish.

Ideally, you have experience working with certified quality management systems in the food or feed industry.
