IT Support Student

At HDI Denmark, we are looking for a student IT Supporter to join our IT team, currently pursuing studies in information technology, computer science, or a related field who are looking to gain valuable hands-on experience.

Exciting tasks await you

As an IT Supporter, you will be the first point of contact for our colleagues, ensuring their technology runs smoothly and efficiently.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Provide first-line technical support to staff, assisting with hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common problems with computers, printers, and other devices.
  • Assist in the setup and configuration of IT equipment for new users.
  • Document and track support requests using the organization's help desk system.
  • Follow established protocols to ensure timely and effective resolution of support tickets.
  • Support IT team projects, including software updates, system maintenance, and inventory management.
  • Deliver excellent service to our staff and communicate effectively with users of varying technical ability.

On average, we expect you to work 15-20 hours per week with flexibility to also focus on your studies.

What you bring

Building good relationships comes naturally to you, and you communicate clearly with people of all backgrounds and technical abilities.

  • Currently enrolled in an IT, Computer Science, or related program.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, and common software applications in the Microsoft Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
