Student Assistant - Group Sustainability

Your role

As a Student Assistant in our Group Sustainability team, you will be involved in key sustainability projects, working alongside colleagues in the team and across the company. You will get the chance to contribute to meaningful projects that support our sustainability strategy and help shape the future of responsible business practices in the building industry.

You will be based at our headquarters in Horsens, just 30 minutes by train from Aarhus. Here, you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative sustainability team. We value your ideas and perspectives and encourage you to take the initiative.

Your primary responsibilities

We aim to create a good balance between recurring tasks and development projects, giving you the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively.

Your tasks may include, for example:

  • Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting on key environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics.
  • Conduct research on sustainable materials, circular economy solutions, and industry best practices.
  • Support the implementation of sustainability projects across the DOVISTA Group.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate sustainability into business operations.
  • Help prepare communication materials for sustainability initiatives, both internally and externally.
  • Assist in organizing sustainability events, workshops, and awareness campaigns.
  • Support the development of strategies to reduce the company’s carbon footprint.

Who are you?

We imagine that you are currently studying a relevant field such as environmental science, social sciences, or similar. You are curious, structured, and eager to learn. You enjoy working independently and collaboratively, and you’re not afraid to take initiative.

You are comfortable communicating in both Danish and English and might:

  • Be interested in ESG and sustainability topics.
  • Enjoy working with data and doing research.
  • Have some experience with tools like PowerPoint, Excel or Power BI – or be keen to learn.

We imagine that you’ll be able to contribute around 8–15 hours per week (1–2 days), but we’re flexible and will plan tasks together with you to fit your studies, exams, and other commitments.
