To strengthen our commercial organization, we’re now looking for a Sales & Business Development Director to expand our presence in the industrial process and wastewater segment across Europe and North America.
In this key role, you’ll work with industries such as steel, chemicals, petrochemicals, mining, power generation, and food processing — sectors where water treatment and reuse are essential to both sustainability and operational excellence.
You’ll be based in Denmark (Ballerup or Hobro) and collaborate closely with our international team and customer base. Expect around 40–60 travel days per year across Europe and the U.S.
Your Key Responsibilities
As Sales & Business Development Director, you’ll lead both direct sales to industrial clients and the strategic development of our partner network to ensure long-term market growth.
Your main tasks will include:
- Developing and executing sales strategies for the industrial process and wastewater segment
- Engaging directly with end-users to identify, qualify, and close opportunities for ceramic filtration systems
- Building long-term partnerships with EPCs, system integrators, and technology providers
- Translating customer challenges into technical and commercial solutions together with our engineering team
- Leading negotiations and closing deals that balance short-term wins with long-term strategic relationships
- Representing LiqTech at key industry events, conferences, and exhibitions
- Providing market insights and customer feedback to help refine our solutions and strategy
You will report to SVP Commercial and collaborate closely with our global sales, marketing, and engineering teams.
About You
We’re looking for a commercially driven professional with a strong technical understanding and a genuine passion for sustainable industrial solutions.
You likely have:
- A solid background in sales or business development within industrial water treatment, process equipment, or environmental technologies
- A proactive “hunter” mindset and a track record of opening new customer accounts
- Experience in one or more of the following industries: steel, chemicals, petrochemicals, mining, power generation, or food processing
- Motivation for both immediate sales results and long-term strategic growth
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of an organization
- A structured, goal-oriented approach and a high sense of ownership
- Fluency in English (other languages are a plus)
- Residency in Denmark and willingness to travel internationally
