Student Assistant (Legal) in Aarhus for Group General Counsel

Are you a law student in your final BA year or pursuing your master’s degree, looking for a part-time role to complement your studies? Do you want to gain practical legal experience in a dynamic biotech company with an international reach? Then this might be the opportunity for you! Our current Student Assistant, Nanna, is completing her studies and transitioning to a permanent role. This is why we are looking for her replacement.

About the Position

We are looking for a strong academic Student Assistant to join our legal team, working 10–15 hours per week. You will play an essential role in supporting our Senior Vice President, General Counsel, with a variety of legal and administrative tasks.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing a wide range of life science-based contracts.
  • Updating legal templates.
  • Supporting meeting preparations for the Senior Vice President, General Counsel.
  • Finalizing drafted documents based on provided input.
  • Implementation and maintenance of GDPR and NIS2 compliance setup.
  • Assisting with other ad hoc legal tasks as needed.

This is primarily an internal role and involves collaboration across the organization and occasional external interactions.

Who You Are

We imagine that you are studying law, in your final year of a bachelor’s program or currently pursuing your master’s degree. Life Science law knowledge is preferable. You have excellent contracting skills and interest in international contracting, including US law governed contracts.

To succeed in this role, you should:

  • Be fluent in English, as it is our corporate language.
  • Have strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Be interested in gaining hands-on experience in a biotech setting.
  • Be based in Aarhus.
