Plant Director – Nagbol, Denmark

Are you a strategic leader with a passion for operational excellence and people development? moveero A/S is seeking an experienced Plant Director to lead our Nagbol site. This is a pivotal leadership position with full P&L responsibility, where you will drive strategic growth, operational performance, and workforce engagement.

You will play a key role in shaping our operations, ensuring world-class standards across safety, quality, delivery, and people development while contributing to the long-term success of moveero A/S.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute the site’s operational strategy, aligned with moveero A/S goals.
  • Drive performance in safety, quality, delivery, capital investment, productivity, cash flow, and talent development.
  • Champion innovation, continuous improvement, and adaptability in manufacturing operations.

Operational Excellence

  • Lead initiatives to improve safety (EHS), quality, delivery, and productivity.
  • Implement advanced manufacturing systems and process modeling to identify and prioritize improvements.
  • Optimize production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.

Purchasing & Supply Chain

  • Strengthen sourcing strategies, ensuring supplier quality and cost efficiency.
  • Build long-term supplier partnerships that support business growth.
  • Manage inventory and working capital effectively.

People Development

  • Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Identify, develop, and retain key talent through structured development plans.
  • Lead with authenticity and inspire teams to achieve operational excellence.

Financial Management

  • Prepare, monitor, and manage budgets with a strong focus on cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with financial frameworks and governance structures.

Safety & Environment

  • Guarantee full compliance with environmental and health & safety regulations.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture across the site.

Your Profile

Leadership & Strategy

  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in complex organizations.
  • Strong strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across cultures and with international stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing, including 5 years in multi-site leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership and experience driving site transformation programs.
  • Preferably experienced in Private Equity-backed environments and Asset-Based Lending.
  • International exposure and cultural adaptability.

Additional Information

  • Travel: Occasional travel within and outside the EU.
  • Languages: Full professional proficiency in Danish and English is required.
