Director of Sourcing

About the Role

As Director of Sourcing, you will lead global sourcing strategy and supplier management, driving cost optimization, ESG compliance, and long-term supply continuity. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure our sourcing aligns with product development, financial targets, and customer expectations.

At EverRest, we specialize in developing and producing high-quality sleep products for some of the world’s largest retailers, making sourcing resilience and performance critical to our success.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Global Supply Strategy

• Develop and implement a global sourcing strategy aligned with EverRest’s financial, operational, and ESG goals.
• Source across international regions to diversify risk, optimize landed costs, and align supplier capabilities with long-term business objectives.
• Identify and qualify new suppliers while managing long-term strategic partnerships to ensure competitiveness, supply security, and innovation.
• Lead supplier negotiations, securing master supply agreements that deliver favorable terms, commercial value, and long-term continuity.
• Align raw material pricing and negotiation strategies with factory purchasing managers and Finance to manage cost structures effectively.
• Integrate sustainability criteria – including ethical sourcing, environmental standards, and traceability – into the supplier selection and evaluation process.

Supplier Management & Compliance

• Build and manage supplier relationships that prioritize quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Product Development to maintain a supplier scorecard, track KPIs, and enforce performance standards.
• Ensure supplier adherence to certifications, regulations, and sustainability expectations.
• Monitor global market trends, material availability, and geopolitical risks to proactively adjust sourcing strategies.

ERP, Data Management & Process Optimization

• Oversee the integrity and accuracy of sourcing-related master data in Business Central, including SKUs, supplier terms, lead times, and pricing structures.
• Drive system and process enhancements in partnership with the Data & Systems Architecture team to streamline procurement workflows and reduce inefficiencies.
• Lead automation initiatives that increase procurement visibility, scalability, and responsiveness across the sourcing lifecycle.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate across Product Development, Finance, Sales, Quality Assurance, Operations, and Demand Planning to ensure sourcing strategies align with product roadmaps, customer requirements, inventory targets, and cost goals.
• Act as a primary liaison between the sourcing function and key internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency around supplier updates, pricing changes, and supply chain risks.
• Drive alignment on ethical sourcing initiatives, sustainability compliance, and reporting expectations with internal partners and external stakeholders.

Risk Management & Business Continuity

• Design and implement risk mitigation strategies, including dual sourcing, vendor diversification, and long-term supply agreements.
• Maintain high levels of sourcing data accuracy (99%+), conduct regular audits, and ensure proactive identification of discrepancies or bottlenecks.
• Develop robust business continuity plans to minimize disruption from supply shocks, geopolitical volatility, or logistics constraints.

People Leadership & Team Development

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sourcing team with clear expectations, continuous development, and a focus on results.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration within the sourcing organization.
• Lead monthly sourcing alignment sessions with key stakeholders to maintain visibility, communicate strategic direction, and drive execution.
