Terms: Permanent full-time role. 3 months’ probation
Salary/rate: The package is based on experience and location, but it will contain a competitive wage, bonus, and pension.
About the role:
The Sales Manager role in UK/IE is an entrusted role offered in a progressive and innovative B2B furniture business based out of Kolding Denmark.
The role will include significant travel activity in the entire UK and Ireland.
The candidate will split their time and focus between enterprise-level furniture retail accounts, smaller regional chains, and independent stores as well as E-Commerce platforms. The region already has extensive customer activity, yet there is a huge amount of potential for new business in the region across the various customer segments. The role will refer to the Sales Director of UK/Ireland.
Responsibilities:
- Driving the growth of the region turnover and earnings to new heights, with a high growth rate expected.
- Account management at the enterprise level of the largest retail and E-commerce clients in the region as well as opening the doors to more retail chains and independent furniture retailers.
- Taking part in the product development required to service and support the region, but more importantly, be well versed in the already huge assortment available for sale in the region.
- Participation and proactive planning of relevant furniture trade shows within the sales region.
- Liaising between the product category management and internal sales coordinating team in Denmark.
- Ensuring continuous alignment with Unique’s corporate, and regional, strategic goals, set out in collaboration with top management.
- Delivery of top-line reporting during recurring monthly meetings with the reference sales director.
Candidate requirements:
- Ideally the candidate has extensive sales experience in the B2B home improvement/interior industry.
- Must be fluent in English
- Must be able and willing to travel an expected 75-90 nights/annually for customer and market visits, trips to the Head Office in Denmark, and trade shows around the world. (depends on the candidate’s location)
- Must have an ambitious drive to success, coupled with a humble approach to learning and taking part in a large global team effort.
