Technical Designer, production equipment and products

Right now, we are searching for a Technical Designer, production equipment and products for our Office in Longelse, Langeland.

We are currently seeking a Technical Designer for production equipment and products to join our production team in Longelse. The ideal candidate has a background as an Industrial Technician or in Project Management, with practical experience in both areas.

The primary responsibilities include maintaining technical documentation for production equipment, managing technical dossiers, and participating in the design and development of new production equipment.

You will be part of our Danish Design Studio team, which handles new items and orders. Your tasks will include creating AutoCAD drawings, CNC coding for our watercutter, and setting up routes and formulas in D365FO. You will report directly to the Head of Design Studio who is based in Longelse.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and update technical documentation and dossiers for production equipment
  • Participate in design processes for new production equipment
  • Create 2D and 3D using AutoCAD/Inventor
  • Generate CNC codes for watercutter operations
  • Set up production routes and formulas in D365FO
  • Collaborate with the Design Studio team on new items and orders
  • Travel to other factory locations a few times per year

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will have a technical education with solid experience in both 2D and 3D drawing. A minimum of five years of relevant work experience is preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential for this role, along with strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail. Experience with CNC programming and ERP systems – particularly D365FO – is considered an advantage. You should be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Additionally, a willingness to travel occasionally to other factory locations is required.
