We are expanding in Skagen Blade Technology with a proactive and detail-oriented Global Mobility Manager

We are seeking a Global Mobility Manager to lead the planning and management of international labor law compliance, tax obligations, and employment contract strategy across all countries where our company operates. This role ensures we maintain full compliance with local regulations while supporting our global business operations and international workforce. Your key responsibilities:

Employment Contracts & Labor Law:

  • Draft, review, and manage employment contracts across jurisdictions.
  • Ensure employment terms comply with local labor laws and corporate policies.
  • Determining the right type of labor contracts per country (employee vs contractor, fixed-term vs permanent).
  • Monitor legislative changes in labor law regulations in each country where projects occur and provide proactive guidance to HR, finance and management.

Tax Compliance & Planning:

  • Ensuring proper tax structures for local and cross-border projects.
  • Collaborate with finance and tax teams to ensure compliance with local employee-related tax obligations and/or tax equalization.
  • Support global mobility and working abroad tax planning.
  • Partner and coordinate with external advisors on country-specific tax and payroll matters.

International HR & Mobility:

  • Develop and manage policies for international assignments, remote work across borders, and cross-border hiring.
  • Provide guidance on visa and immigration requirements in collaboration with external advisors.
  • Oversee permanent establishment (PE) risks related to employee presence in new markets.
  • Provide guidance for HR how to manage employee assignments across borders, work permits, and local registrations.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Work closely with HR, Legal, Finance, Business Operations and external advisors to align international hiring and project staffing with legal and tax compliance and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Serve as internal advisor on compliance risk related to labor and tax regulations in new or existing markets.

Vendor & Consultant Management:

  • Manage relationships with global employment law firms, tax advisors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in international HR, legal compliance, or tax planning, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of international employment law, cross-border taxation, and labor regulations.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Legal or tax qualification (e.g., LLB, or equivalent).
  • Experience managing remote teams or supporting distributed workforces.
