Jr. Videographer - Tell our story, one frame at a time
Are you passionate about videography and the creative process? Do you want to learn from experienced professionals while contributing to content that reaches a global audience of miniature painters, hobbyists, and gamers? Then you might be the perfect fit for The Army Painter’s Tactical Marketing team!
We are an award-winning company in Skanderborg that manufactures paint and hobby tools for board game figures. We work with global licenses like Dungeons & Dragons, export to over 50 countries, and have a passionate fanbase. You will have approx. 85 Danish and 10 American colleagues as well as approx. 40 colleagues in our Spanish subsidiary. Our culture is creative, nerdy, and fun—and we're proud to help people around the world bring their miniatures to life.
What You’ll Be Doing
As our new Jr. Videographer, you’ll support our two in-house Videographers/Photographers in producing engaging video and photo content for social media, product marketing, and advertising. This is a hands-on, collaborative role where you’ll gain real experience in creative production while also focusing on projects that directly support our E-Commerce marketing efforts.
You’ll assist with:
- Planning and prepping video/photo shoots
- Setting up lights, gear, and staging environments
- Capturing video and still images
- Editing short-form and long-form content for social media, web, and ads
- Maintaining organization of media files and project assets
This role has a special focus on E-Commerce content, so expect to help create eye-catching video ads, product promos, and web visuals designed to drive clicks and conversions. Experience in creating short-form video content or ads will be a big plus.
What We’re Looking For:
We expect our new colleague to have a basic background in videography and/or photography — whether from school projects, hobby work, or a personal portfolio. It is a big plus if you know your way around lighting, audio, and product staging, but most importantly you’re willing to learn and bring a curious mindset.
To step into the role smoothly, you have experience with basic editing in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, or similar software. You will be working with our creative content team —painters, editors, marketers, and videographers to produce a wide range of content. That’s why familiarity with social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts is essential.
We often work with tight deadlines, which is why we are looking for a reliable and well-organized colleague who delivers content on time.
To thrive in the team, you bring a positive mindset — and if you have experience or interest in tabletop games, miniature painting, fantasy, or sci-fi, that’s a bonus, but not a requirement.
This is a full-time, on-site position starting in October or before at our HQ in Skanderborg, Denmark. You will report directly to our US-based Tactical Marketing Executive, Adam Abramowicz. Day-to-day coordination will happen via video calls and shared project tools, so comfort with remote collaboration is essential.
Ready to Apply?
Please submit your resume and a short cover letter in English, along with a link to any work you’re proud of (school projects, personal work, or content you’ve helped make). We will conduct phone screenings from week 29, and after that we will conduct interviews as we move forward in our search for the best candidate. We reserve the right to close the position once we find the right person.
We look forward to hearing from you!
