SEO Specialist

European Sperm Bank is seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to join our Growth & Marketing team. In this key role, you’ll lead efforts to grow high-quality organic traffic that supports brand visibility, customer acquisition, and long-term growth. You’ll bring together technical SEO, content strategy, and user intent to ensure our digital platforms perform in search — and with real users.

You’ll be responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive SEO roadmap across multiple brands. From keyword research and competitor analysis to on-page optimisation and link-building strategy, you’ll drive initiatives that deliver measurable results. Working with tools like Google Search Console, GA4, and Ahrefs/SEMrush, you'll track performance and turn insights into action.

This role is highly collaborative. You’ll partner with content teams, developers, and stakeholders in marketing and UX to ensure SEO is fully integrated into our digital experience and aligned with commercial objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Shaping and executing a results-driven SEO strategy aligned with business goals
  • Leading keyword research, SERP analysis, and competitor benchmarking
  • Guiding on-page SEO best practices, including metadata, headers, and schema
  • Owning our link-building strategy in collaboration with Corporate Communications
  • Conducting site audits and improving crawlability, internal linking, and page speed
  • Identifying and resolving technical SEO issues with the Digital team
  • Reporting on performance and providing actionable insights using industry tools
  • Keeping ahead of SEO trends, AI developments, and algorithm updates

What you bring to the role:

  • At least 5 years of experience delivering impactful SEO results
  • Strong knowledge of technical SEO, modern content strategy, and data analysis
  • Familiarity with enterprise CMS systems like Umbraco
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to work effectively with developers
  • Advanced proficiency in SEO tools (Google Search Console, GA4, Looker Studio, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs/SEMrush)
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
