Welcome to Jesper Holm Copenhagen

Since 1999, Jesper Holm Copenhagen has manufactured kitchens, wardrobes, custom-made dining tables and many other products. All of our products are unique and are made to order. Our customers have the opportunity to choose exactly which type of wood the product is to be made from, and as a cabinetmaker and fitter, you are involved in the entire journey from production to assembly.

Production and assembly in Greater Copenhagen

At Jesper Holm Copenhagen, you will work both with production and assembly. Some days you will be in the workshop located in Ishøj, where you and your colleagues manufacture various custom-made products. There is a great deal of freedom in terms of planning your days working in production, and you and your colleagues decide for yourselves, who handles which tasks when – of course always meeting the deadline agreed.

Your work is not only in production as you will also carry out assembly tasks at the customers’ house. Our customers are primarily based in Greater Copenhagen, and most of the time you will carry out these tasks together with a colleague.

You will be responsible for different tasks, equally split between manufacturing and assembly. You will work closely together with a team of good colleagues in the company, where there is an informal tone and focus on well-being.

Your tasks will include:

• fitting high quality kitchens, wardrobes, shelving +++ in costumers houses.
• communication with customers
• fine capenting work in workshop

Interest in wood and eager to learn

The most important requirement for this position is that you have an interest in working with wood and that you are eager to learn. You do not need to have experience with the work tasks or with carpentry. You will be offered extensive training, and your colleagues are ready to teach you all you need to know.

It is important that you:

• speak English or Danish
• are ready to acquire a lot of new skills
• can work under pressure and maintain an overview in busy situations
• are interested in working with wood and crafts
• in reasonably good physical shape
• are good at speaking with customers. You will need to speak with many customers, and you must always be service-minded and positive
• Working hours are 7.00-15.00 Monday-Thursday, and 7.00-14.30 Friday.
