
Section Manager, IDS and Warehouse & Goods Receiving

As our new Section Manager for IDS and Warehouse & Goods Receiving, you will have multiple cross functional touch points – this is because the department interlinks with all other processes. Your key functions will include driving process discipline, ensuring operational stability and managing effective collaboration across departments and with customers.
Join us on our journey and your main duties and responsibilities will be:
- Implement and anchor standardized routines and work processes within IDS and Warehouse & Goods Receiving.
- Plan, direct, and monitor all receiving, delivering and inventories activities within an assigned area to maximize the use of the organization’s resources and meet, volume, cost, and wastage targets, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Ensure a smooth and effective staff planning according to forecast, laws, union agreement and internal policies.
- Adhere to Compliance within HACCP, Customer requirements, Security and Safety in Pick & Pack.
- Drive engagement by providing and keeping a strong focus in development and motivation of the team.
- Employment, training, and development of employees in your area.
- Management of 4 supervisors / 40-50 employees.
The qualifications we are looking for have:
- At least 5 years’ experience working as leader.
- At least 5 years of experience as a leader, preferably within warehouse and goods receiving.
- Experience implementing structured work processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Experience of working in a Food Hygiene/Health & Safety/High Security environment.
- Experience working with teams, shifts and union agreements.
- The ability to oversee multiple activities at the same time – Planning & Coordination.
- A continuous improvement mindset – Flexible and embracing change.
- Good at prioritizing, keeping an overview and working in a structured way.
- Ability to work in a busy environment and make decisions under pressure.
- Good use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with SAP is a plus.
Language:
- Fluent in Danish and English – both spoken and written.
