We are now looking for a Head of Portfolio Management, Denmark for our office in Copenhagen to strengthen our already solid foundation and to continue to be able to deliver stellar results on asset level for our property funds.
The role, which is newly created, reports to the Country manager, Denmark and is based at Blox, Bryghuspladsen 8, Copenhagen. The new Head of Portfolio Management, Denmark will have Asset Managers/Portfolio Managers in direct line under him/her. Currently there are 2 people.
The new person will be responsible for the day-to-day / week-to-week oversight and follow up on the business plans for Niam’s active portfolios. That includes, among other things, to be actively pushing the goals and key objectives critical for Niam succeeding with the specific portfolio.
One of the keys to the success of the role is to be heavily involved in planning the right resource allocation to the portfolios and on a continuous basis adjust if needed. In addition, the role is responsible for ensuring high-quality data management that will be key for following up on current business plans, adjust where needed and provide valuable insights to new acquisitions.
The specific business plans laid out at acquisition are the main basis for the role’s success, follow-up and adjustments, hence the role will also be included at acquisition time and with structured and verified data provide valuable insights pre-acquisition.
The role will be responsible for maintaining and developing:
- Quarterly Mgmt. reporting, including optimizing controlling together with Finance Manager.
- Bi-weekly/monthly KPI follow up with AM/Portfolio Managers.
- Monthly follow up/coordinate with finance to plan distribution.
- Responsible for quarterly reporting to funds (by delegation).
- Continuing to identify and implement efficient portfolio and asset management tools.
- Liaison with relevant people across the organization to optimize knowledge transfer and share best practices.
We are looking for someone who has:
- 7+ years of experience in asset management/portfolio management, preferably from real estate and preferably in a managerial capacity.
- Relevant academic degree.
- Self-driven and responsible.
- Strong commercial mindset and able to evaluate and prioritize investment cases.
- Meritorious with experience and understanding of financial key figures and relevance to fund operations.
- Team player and willing to get the job done.
