ETK EMS has significant growth potential both in Denmark and internationally. With the launch of an ambitious strategic process, a clear growth strategy has been planned for the coming years. As part of this journey a Chief Manufacturing Officer has been appointed and with reference to the CMO our client is looking for a Global Quality Manager.
The global quality function needs strengthening, and therefore, we are looking for a Global Quality Manager who can act as the right hand of the CMO across a wide range of challenging tasks. The candidate will have the opportunity to help shape how ETK EMS develops and optimizes processes within this function.
The Quality Manager plays a crucial role within an organization, responsible for ensuring the implementation and maintenance of quality control measures. This position is to ensure that the company consistently produces high-quality products that meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations, to drive continuous improvement and innovation in quality management, and to provide strategic leadership and vision for the company’s global quality efforts.
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Responsible to act as Quality Manager of Danish sites which includes Quality control, Quality management, Systems and supplier quality.
- Responsible for Global Quality which includes sites in Asia and future expansions in Europe/USA.
- Responsible for the implementation of Quality systems and KPI metrics.
- Responsible for implementing necessary quality certification required for the new customers and meeting regulatory requirements.
- Responsible and part of ESG initiatives for the group.
- Responsible for developing competences and Processes for HSE and act as a responsible chairperson for the effectivity of the deployed processes.
THE SUITABLE CANDIDATE
You probably hold a bachelor/master’s degree in Electronics or equivalent education and have solid experience working with quality from the EMS Industry.
You have experience in managing both upstream and downstream partners and solid experience in deploying quality measures and improvements in the previous work experiences. You have good knowledge in RCA/CAPA- 8D Principles and good knowledge in driving operational excellence program including lean principles by DMAIC methods and VSM principles.
