QA Manager – drive quality assurance across global healthcare markets
Join us in our new Copenhagen office and take the lead in ensuring our quality systems to support our mission of improving healthcare access worldwide.
This role offers you the opportunity to make a lasting impact through strategic quality assurance and compliance – from system development and audits to supplier oversight and cross-functional support. You’ll work closely internally with Operations and Regulatory Affairs, and externally with vendors to ensure our high standards are met and maintained globally.
We improve access to healthcare products globally
We are a subsidiary of a 30-year running international organization which – within a specific area of needed healthcare products – is one of the largest distributors globally. We are a highly results-oriented and mission-driven organization with a unique corporate culture that balances achieving health impact and innovation with increasing sustainability.
Our new team of 15+ colleagues will provide key support functions within marketing, finance, HR, supply chain, and more – to our global operations.
You ensure quality at every level
As our new QA Manager, you will ensure the implementation and continuous improvement of our Quality Management System, ensuring that our products, processes and partnerships meet international standards.
You will play a significant role in managing our quality strategy, including:
- Driving the effective implementation of our Quality Management System while ensuring compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and MDR requirements
- Managing documentation, internal audits, and preparation for external audits across various certifications
- Overseeing quality at our contracted manufacturing site, including supplier audits and product release processes
- Ensuring customer complaint handling, adverse event reporting, and continuous improvement of QA systems
- Advising across functions – including sales and marketing – to embed quality into contracts, documentation, and daily practices
- Recruiting and developing QA staff as we continue to grow
International and vibrant atmosphere
We may be a new office, but we stand on a strong foundation because you will join a global organization with decades of experience. Still, we have never left our entrepreneurial enthusiasm behind, so you will join an environment where ownership and teamwork are key.
We value flexibility, but we also believe in building a strong in-office culture together – so we encourage collaboration at our centrally located Copenhagen office (near Metro-Cityringen) while offering the possibility of one remote workday per week.
Who are you?
You are a quality-driven, hands-on professional who thrives in a role that spans strategy, systems, and collaboration. Moreover, we imagine you:
- Bring 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
- Proven experience in establishing, implementing, and managing electronic Quality Management Systems (e-QMS)
- Have in-depth knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and MDR
- Communicate fluently in English – fluency in French, Chinese, or Spanish is a bonus
- Are willing to travel internationally for on-site audits (2-3 times per year)
If you are not a Danish citizen, you must have a valid work permit.
