Qualified independently working Cook

For our Thai restaurant in Haarlem we are looking for an experienced and qualified independently working Cook to support our team.

Are you a passionate Cook with a love for the Thai kitchen? Would you like to be part of an enthusiastic team in the oldest Thai restaurant of Haarlem?

Then we are looking for you!

Our restaurant is situated in the historic center of Haarlem surrounded by shops, nice restaurants, and cosy bars.

You will be responsible for authentic Thai dishes in a restaurant where the quality of the food comes first. You will oversee that the dishes will be prepared according strict quality guidelines, working ethics and recipes.

In addition, you provide input regarding the composition and modification of menus and methods, you are responsible for stock and order management and manage kitchen assistants.

In this role, you are also 100 % responsible for following the rules and guidelines in the field of hygiene (HACCP), and you have knowledge of the entire process in the kitchen.

Required education/experience

  • MBO (secondary vocational education) level 3, cook diploma
  • Minimum of two years working experience as independently working Cook after obtaining cooking diploma
  • You speak Dutch and/or English

Working schedule

  • From 15:00 - 23:30
  • Work in weekends
  • Work on holidays

Salary: Market-conform according to the Hospitality Industry Collective Labor Agreement Starting at € 2660.00 Gross per month.
