Work with Global Finance Processes at Dovista

You will be joining our office in Horsens where you will jump directly into a current ongoing companywide Global Finance Processes project centered around Record-to-Report (R2R).

The project is covering the end-to-end financial accounting and reporting processes across all our entities in Europe, and is aiming at implementing a standardized, aligned, and compliant process.

This is what you will be doing

In this role, your primary responsibility is to spearhead finance projects, with a current emphasis on the R2R project. This project will be your primary focus throughout 2024, after which other finance projects will hit your desk.

From (almost) day one, you will play an instrumental role in realizing our ambitions within Record-to-Report by building up a proactive and forward-looking process This involves implementing the necessary tools for clear visibility and accountability across various finance departments and functions.

Leading multiple workstreams within the project, you will collaborate with stakeholders across all functions supported by the project. This includes engaging with regional managers, group functions, as well as the finance leadership team.

In essence, some of your main responsibilities will be to:

• Lead our regions through the various stages of an R2R transformation by building up solid implementation plans, taking into account the different stages of maturity on entity level
• Define process performance measures that can target and monitor process performance - insuring non-compliance with defined processes are timely identified
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and deliver high-quality results
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results to internal and external stakeholders
• Implement and enforce control measures to mitigate risks associated with financial reporting
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and systems (if needed) to enhance R2R processes

This is your background

• You have 3+ years of experience from a consulting company or within a finance function, where you have been involved in different functional areas.
• You can be in the early stages of your career or have traversed through multiple financial disciplines for several years.
• A broad finance knowledge with a good understanding of the intricate connections between different financial realms and processes.
• You don’t necessarily have prior project management experience – as long as you are curious and ready to expand your skill set – we are here to provide you with the necessary tools through tailored courses and further education.
• Fluency in spoken and written English is a must.

Moreover, your ability to both drill-down in highly operational finance processes or complex finance controlling processes and design efficient solutions, will give you an optimal opportunity for developing and growing in this role.

In your interactions, you are communicative and are comfortable exploring a direction and defining a solution in an environment with some degree of ambiguity and uncertainty.
