Finance Manager

To support our expanding business and to strengthen our finance team, we are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to our office in Aarhus.

GROWN UP GROUP (Listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, HKEX: 1842) is one of the world’s leading companies within the bags and luggage industry. Our European Operation is located centrally on the harbour area in Aarhus City. We are a dynamic and professional team of 20 employees at the office. We are looking for a new Finance Manager for our European Operation who will be working on a daily basis closely with the 4 commercial directors and the team in Aarhus. You will report directly to our Finance Director at our HQ situated in Hong Kong.

YOUR TASKS

  • Prepare and provide analysis of monthly management reports
  • Accounting entries and reconciliations
  • Review financial reporting systems, accounting or collection procedures, or advice changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets, or other financial control functions
  • Ascertain that the accounting records and paperwork comply with local statutory requirements and the company’s accounting policy
  • Responsible for Danish annual audit, assist in Group’s reporting of annual and interim audit
  • Contact to company’s Danish Auditors
  • Preparing the annual budget and forecast
  • Cashflow management
  • HR and Administration support to Aarhus office - in cooperation with the commercial directors
  • Responsible for payroll processing
  • Assist Group Financial Controller in finance projects and ad-hoc duties

THE CANDIDATE

  • Education in accounting
  • 3-10 years of accounting experience
  • Knowledge of Danish legislation in terms of employment and conditions
  • Ready to work in an international and culturally diverse company
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with PowerBI (or similar MIS) is an advantage
  • Analytical, self-starter, detail-oriented and have a high drive
  • Fluent in Danish and English (our corporate language)
