DIGNITY – Danish Institute Against Torture seeks a Legal Advisor (part-time) for the period 1 January-31 December 2020, with a solid background in international human rights law and with a specific focus on state obligations to combat torture.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the development and implementation of DIGNITY’s strategies, programmes and projects on combating torture internationally
Advice and build capacity of justice sector institutions on combating torture and the use of pre-trial detention in North Africa
Conduct legal research and provide legal advice on national legislation and international legal standards relevant to the struggle against torture
