We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled candidate to join us as PhD scholar.

You will focus on defining the tailored and HVDC specific ancillary services based on an analysis of the stability of multi-terminal HVDC grid, and then model, simulate and analyse the technical capabilities and prioritization mechanisms for delivery of the ancillary services.

Your primary tasks will be:

• Plan and manage your PhD project in collaboration with supervisors
• Model multi-terminal HVDC grids and the connected offshore wind farms
• Develop the capabilities and prioritization mechanisms for delivery of ancillary services
