Hops adds the characteristic aromas to beer, and we seek to understand how these are constituted genetically.

You will be working on the interphase of genomics, transcriptomics, and metabolomics to unravel the secondary metabolism in hops with a focus on aroma compounds.

What we’re looking for:

A PhD degree in bioinformatics, plant biology, agriculture, or a related field is a must. Postdoc experience is an asset but not a requirement for this role.
Profound knowledge and experience within genomics and transcriptomics are required. Skills in molecular genetics are an asset.
