Howden is a global engineering business who focus on providing clients with industrial products that help multiple sectors improve their everyday processes. Howden’s core focus is on providing quality solutions for air and gas handling, and have over a century of experience in doing so.

As Operational Purchaser, you will be responsible for placing Purchase orders, follow-up with suppliers and support our Aftermarket department according to project milestones and deadlines.

What needs to be done?

Place and negotiate purchase orders with suppliers located in Denmark and abroad.
Drive cost reduction initiatives and ensure defined Key Performance Indicators.
Proactively monitor and ensure optimised performance in relation to cost, delivery on hardware and software, quality and compliance and initiate corrective action in case of poor supplier performance.
