Bottom of FormTo strengthen our team in Gråsten, we are looking for a Senior Voice Engineer. In this role, your primary focus will be to maintain and evolve our in-house developed voice platform, ensuring it remains solid, scalable, and future-ready. The platform is designed with flexibility and innovation at its core, and your insights will play a key role in shaping its continued development.

You will work closely with our Product Management, contributing ideas and technical expertise to help drive new features and improvements. Together with your team, you will also be responsible for executing our annual roadmap for the voice platform. Your knowledge and input will be essential to securing the platform’s position as a vital part of our business.

YOUR ROLE

  • Managing and maintaining our voice platforms, including monitoring, backups, upgrades, installations, routine testing, and failover features
  • Providing second/third-level support to handle complex issues and requests
  • Analyzing problems and change requests to ensure smooth operations
  • Supporting the development of our core network to enhance scalability and integrate new elements
  • Participating in projects that involve planning, developing, and implementing new features and components

ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Extensive knowledge of PBX and VOIP systems
  • Proficiency in protocols such as SIP
  • Hands-on experience with automation, scripting, and programming (Ansible, PHP, Python, Lua, etc.)
  • Expertise in MySQL databases
  • Proven ability in fault-finding and analysis within a VOIP environment
  • Strong understanding of voice element roles (proxy, B2BUA, etc.)
  • Familiarity with open-source platforms (e.g. Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, OpenSIPS, Kamailio)
  • Solid knowledge of Linux
  • Proficiency in English, as you will work in an international team
  • Enthusiastic and inquisitive nature, with the ability to work independently, take responsibility, and be proactive
  • Willing to participate in an on-call schedule
