We are looking for a new colleague to join an exciting project with our client in the wind industry.

You will be the technical responsible for the specification, design, test, verification, implementation and documentation of the foundation electrical components & systems as well as their interfaces.

Location: South Jutland, onsite.


QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or similar background with theoretical and minimum 2 years practical knowledge on design and manufacturing of electrical components
  • Recommended 5 years of practical and theoretical experience within electrical components, preferably within the foundation / wind turbine industry
  • Strong team player who is able to align and communicate with various internal and external stakeholder
  • Strong English skills - both oral and written
  • Valid EU work permit making you able to start right away

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) of the electrical design within the foundation package, including low voltage components, specific free issued items, high voltage components and interfaces
  • Responsible for the functional electrical tender incl. electrical design drawings and design reports
  • Ensuring compliance with the Technical Specification within the technical area with during the project
  • Technical Due Diligence in dialogue with supplier(s) by gathering information and assessing risks
  • Responsibility for the electrical interface from foundation to WTG tower
  • Risk mitigation in dialogue with supplier(s) and internal stakeholders within the asset project
  • Accordance of Supplier’s quality process & deliveries towards Technical Specification
  • Delivery and review of electrical documentation, including as-built documentation and service & maintenance instructions
  • Sharing and implementation of learnings between Projects
  • Prepare technical requirements and specifications and conduct verification activities at relevant project stages;
  • Review of electrical documentation from foundation contractor / sub-contractors, such as test certification, as built drawings, and O&M manuals
  • Recommend product quality control activities incl. FAIs, FATs and SATs
  • Represent in FAI’s (First Article Inspections) of free-issued equipment and components, and fabrication assembly such as FAI on final foundation structures
  • Maintain electrical documentation such as electrical requirements, methods statements, and processes
  • Participate in development projects to ensure improvement of their solutions
