Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research (CPR) (www.cpr.ku.dk), a Novo Nordisk Foundation center of excellence, was established in 2007 and embedded in the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen, to promote basic and applied research on human proteins of medical relevance. Your tasks
As our Laboratory Assistant you will have the following responsibilities:
- Prepare solutions and reagents for protein purification, including making buffers, antibiotic stocks, and LB plates, amongst others
- Cleaning laboratory equipment
- Restocking media and buffers from SUND Sterile Centralen
- Handle laboratory waste and ensure proper removal to the goods yard
It is important that you have:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions
Terms of salary and employment
Your employment will be at CPR, University of Copenhagen. The position is 12 hours per week, with a preferred start date on 15 June 2024 and will expire on 31 December 2024.
Employment as laboratory assistant will be in accordance with the agreement between the Danish Ministry of Taxation and OAO/HK STAT. The position is placed in salary group 1.
