Forskeruddannelse uden for universiteterne 2024 / Research programmes outside universities 2024
Det Kongelige Akademi, Ph.d.-skolen, indkalder ansøgninger inden for institutionens fagområder til prækvalificering i forbindelse med Danmarks Frie Forskningsfonds (DFF’s) opslag om forskeruddannelse uden for universiteterne (ph.d.).
DFFs opslag forventes at blive offentliggjort i juni 2024.
Prækvalificeringsprocessen er planlagt med udgangspunkt i, at DFFs opslag ligesom tidligere år indeholder mulighed for enkeltpersoner om at søge om ph.d.-stipendier, hvor der som bilag skal vedlægges et tilsagn fra værtsinstitutionen (her akademiet) om indskrivning.
Det Kongelige Akademi forventer, at vi i alt kan give tilsagn om at være værtsinstitution for op til tre ph.d.-ansøgninger til DFF.
Da vi skal sikre, at enhver kandidat bedømmes på jævnbyrdige præmisser – og af hensyn til begrænsning i den tid medarbejdere kan afsætte til arbejde i tilknytning til disse opslag, er det ikke muligt at modtage vejledning forud for indsendelse af projekter.
Ansøgningen
Ansøgningen skal indeholde følgende dokumenter:
• Projektbeskrivelse på maksimum fem normalsider + referencer/litteraturliste og tidsplan.
• CV
• Eksamensbevis og komplet karakterudskrift med hele studieforløbet både fra bachelor- og kandidatuddannelse – eller alternativt en specialeudtalelse, afgangsudtalelse eller andet tilsvarende.
Der skal ikke indsendes budget eller andre bilag i forbindelse med ansøgningen til Det Kongelige Akademis Ph.d.-skole.
Ansøgere bedes anføre fagområdet, hvorunder ansøgningen falder: Arkitektur, Design eller Konservering.
Ansøgningsfrist
Den 15. maj 2024 kl. 12.00 CET.
Der kan forventes svar på ansøging fra akademiet i slutningen af august 2024.
Bemærk! Ansøgere vil modtage en meddelelse om, hvorvidt ansøgningen er gået videre i processen frem mod ansøgningsfristen til DFF. Ansøgere vil ikke modtage en bedømmelse eller andet uddybende svar på ansøgningen, hverken mundtligt eller skriftligt.

The PhD School of the Royal Danish Academy invites applications within the subject areas of the institution for prequalification for Independent Research Fund Denmark’s (DFF’s) notice regarding research programmes outside universities (PhD).
We expect DFF’s notice to be published in June 2024.
The prequalification process plan will be the same as in previous years: DFF’s notice gives individuals the opportunity to apply for PhD scholarships, if their applications are accompanied by a commitment from a host institution (in this case the academy) with regard to enrolment.
With regard to that commitment, the Royal Danish Academy expects to serve as host institution for up to three PhD applications to DFF.
Given the fact that we must ensure that all applicants are assessed on equal terms and that there is a limit to the amount of time that staff can devote to assessing these applications, applicants cannot receive guidance prior to submitting their projects.
The application
The application must contain the following documents:
• Project description of no more than five normal pages + references/bibliography and schedule.
• CV
• Diplomas and complete transcript for the applicant’s entire course of study at both undergraduate and postgraduate level – alternatively a thesis statement, graduation statement or similar.
It is not necessary to submit a budget or other supporting documents in the context of applying to the PhD School of the Royal Danish Academy.
Applicants are requested to indicate the subject area under which the application falls:
Architecture, Design or Conservation.
Application deadline
12.00 noon CET on 15 May 2024
Applicants can expect a response from the Academy in late August 2024.
Please note! Applicants will be notified as to whether their application has progressed in the process well in advance of the DFF application deadline. Applicants will not receive an assessment of, or any other kind of in-depth response to their applications – neither orally nor in writing.
