Then you might be the new German-speaking Bookkeeper, Design Eyewear Group in Aarhus is looking for! We are looking for an outgoing, positive and engaged German-speaking Bookkeeper with a natural ”can do” attitude, to join our Finance Team of 15 employees at our HQ in Aarhus.​​​​​​

At Design Eyewear Group we design, develop and market iconic eyewear brands, which are sold world-wide. Great design is what defines our brands and is the heart of our business. We have offices in Aarhus, Paris, London, Bilbao, and in San Francisco.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be working closely with our other German accountant, who will provide you with the necessary training to ensure that you settle into your new role comfortably to be able to take over the following responsibilities for the German subsidiary:

  • Manage account payables and account receivables
  • HR related tasks, such as salary preparation and payroll
  • VAT returns
  • Month closure and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • Ad hoc tasks

AS PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS WE EXPECT THAT

  • You have experience in accounting, preferably from a German company, but it’s not a requirement
  • You have an education in accounting or similar
  • You are on a high level in German (written and spoken)
