As a Veeva Solution Architect, you will play a vital role in architecting, implementing, and managing Veeva solutions for our customers, primarily in the Life Sciences industry. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful design and deployment of enhancements to Veeva applications, with a focus on best practices, compliance, and industry standards.

This will often be as the Lead Architect for large and complex customer projects where you fulfil the role of an Architect and trusted advisor. You will be responsible for turning vision into a value-adding business solution and making sure it is well adopted and praised by our customers.

You will be an important member of the team that consults on behalf of leading pharmaceutical, medical devices and biotechnology companies. Responsibilities will include preparing engagement estimates, leading workshops and lead the technical tracks e.g. design and configuration of solutions.

NNIT Life Science Solutions’ customers are the leading pharma companies geographically spread across Europe and occasionally in the US.

What you will be responsible for?

The team works closely together with our Global Life Sciences organization, responsible for everything around the applications to complete orchestration and support of our customers’ IT solutions. Our work processes are based on best practices and standards and would cover:

  • Participate in projects at life sciences companies in designing and deploying Veeva Vault (Quality, Regulatory or Clinical) systems.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on the Veeva Vault (Quality, Regulatory or Clinical), technical design, and implementation best practices.
  • Execute workshops and lead customer discussions of the Veeva Systems projects suite to gather customer’s functional and technical requirements to support business processes; translate requirements into system configuration and implementation.
  • Mentor project team members and junior consultants.
  • Provide industry best practices and recommendations to customers during projects.
  • Ensure customer success from beginning to end of the engagement life cycle.
  • Design and maintain cloud-based integrations using REST APIs.
  • Contribute to our NNIT services knowledge base.

Your qualifications
As a Solutions Architect, you must have experience with Regulatory business processes. You have a business-oriented approach to communication and problem-solving. You have strong analytical skills as well as a structured positive way of thinking.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3-5 years in working with Veeva Vault Platform, particularly Vault Quality, Vault Clinical or Vault RIM
  • Strong integration experience in designing and architecting Vault platforms using REST webservices and different integration platforms
  • Experience working in an Agile setup
  • Strong technical background in object-oriented programming - e.g., Java is an advantage
  • Experience with Veeva configuration and implementation
  • Proven track record leading implementation and/or maintenance tracks as a consultant or IT lead and/or business sponsor
  • Veeva Certified Configuration Specialist
  • Keen attention to detail, good judgment in assessments, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Best-in-class customer service skills.

Favoured applicants should possess one or more of the following:

  • Experience with Life Sciences and GxP Systems.
  • Direct experience implementing/consulting on known  Life Sciences technologies.
  • Knowledge of Software Validation processes and requirements.
  • Experience with architecture, integration, interfaces, portals, and/or analytics.
  • Experience working with on premise, Cloud capabilities, and software as a service (SaaS).
