As a Compliance Specialist, you will be part of our very passionate and collaborative Product Development Team located in Allerød close to the train station. You will play a key role in ensuring that Fritz Hansen adheres to a variety of environmental regulations, certifications, and standards.

Your responsibilities will include being up to date and managing compliance programs such as Proposition 65, Wood Origin (FSC and PEFC), US Law Labels, Food Contact Materials and PFAS. Further you will be overseeing certification processes and developing strategies to meet regulatory requirements. Some of these processes will be:

  • Ecolabel Certification: Overseeing the process of obtaining and maintaining ecolabel certifications for our products, ensuring they meet stringent environmental standards.
  • Greenguard and Greenguard Gold Certification: Managing the certification process for Greenguard and Greenguard Gold standards, ensuring our products meet indoor air quality and chemical emissions requirements
  • Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) for Packaging: Developing and implementing strategies to comply with EPR regulations related to packaging waste management.
  • Oeko-Tex Certification: Overseeing the process of obtaining and maintaining Oeko-Tex certification for textiles and related materials.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for an individual who has a passion for making a difference and have the expertise to ensure regulatory compliance while driving environmental initiatives.

You should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Chemistry, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and standards, particularly those relevant to the industry.
  • Experience in managing compliance programs and certification processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of relevant software and tools for data management and reporting
