We are currently looking for an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our QHSE team in Fehmarn, Germany.

About us:

Femern Link Contractors, FLC, is the joint venture responsible for the design and construction of the immersed tunnel, tunnel portals and ramps. Our joint venture consists of nine international construction companies with individual experience in large infrastructure projects. Together, we are committed to work together to deliver a state-of-the-art immersed tunnel, portals and ramps, on time and in a safe, sustainable and ethical manner.

Main Responsibilities:

  • You will focus on 3 key topics: Environmental Inspections, Environmental Procedures and Awareness:
  • Perform environmental site inspection and report same in DALUX (training available).
  • Accompany Owners UBB on-site inspections.
  • Advise and support site management regarding environmental issues.
  • Notify and update FLC Environmental Manager (based in DK).
  • Develop and revise country (DE) specific environmental procedures.
  • Perform site specific environmental- and sustainability awareness campaigns and workshops in cooperation with the rest of FLC environmental department and Fehmarn site management.

Requirements:

  • Civil Engineer or specialist in Environmental management (DE)
  • Knowledge and experience in German environmental legislation and practice
  • IT skills
  • Good Communication skills
  • German and English speaking
  • Able to work alone (with support from Environmental Manager and Site management)

Workplace:

The role is full-time in Puttgarden, Fehmarn, Germany. FLC offers attractive employment conditions on a German contract with one of FLC’s Joint Venture partners.
