Electrician at Gold Mine Processing Plant NALUNAQ

We are seeking a skilled and certified Electrician with a valid Greenlandic ticket to join our team at Nalunaq Mine Processing Plant. This is a rotation-based position, working in remote and challenging environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in industrial electrical systems, with experience in mining and processing facilities preferred.

Location: Nalunaq Mine Processing Plant, Greenland
Type: Full time, rotation basis
Rotation: 4 weeks on/4 weeks off

Main responsibilities:

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including motors, transformers, circuit breakers, and control panels.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation of the processing plant.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical equipment to ensure safety, compliance, and functionality.
• Work with instrumentation and control systems to maintain process automation and operational efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and participation in safety drills and protocols.
• Maintain documentation of electrical systems, repairs, and updates in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the engineering and maintenance teams to optimize equipment performance.
• Assist in electrical system upgrades, expansions, or modifications as needed.

• Flexibility to work in a remote, rotational setting.

• Must be physically capable of performing manual labour, including lifting heavy equipment and tools.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and rugged environments.
• Capacity to work long hours in a rotation-based system, adhering to operational demands
