Our combined product consists of a wearable and app, designed to provide users with real-time cycle insights and actionable data. In short, we want to make data-driven cycle tracking accessible and a 'must-do' for every modern woman with a simple, accurate and convenient product.

Problem: With hormonal diseases and infertility on the rise, women today are more interested than ever in tracking and understanding their menstrual cycle - but current options are either inaccurate, expensive or not aesthetic. ~80% of women don't know when they ovulate and therefore cannot distinguish the different phases of their menstrual cycle apart; with the menstrual cycle being a woman's 5th vital sign, this results in women missing out on key health information. At the same time, there is growing awareness that women's health until now has been neglected and modern women are starting to demand better solutions and empowering information to guide them in making healthy life choices & prevent disease.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Co-Founder, who is excited about building a company and passionate about leveraging technology to improve the health of women. As a key member of our founding team, the CTO will play a pivotal role in leading the development of both hardware (wearable) and software (wearable and app).


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technology strategy and end-to-end development process of our hardware and software (wearable and app); responsible for tech decisions regarding platforms, services, programming languages, databases etc.
  • Lead the algorithm and ML / AI piece for the software (app)
  • Lead and maintain effective relationships with vendors, partners, and other stakeholders, ensuring that our technology investments are aligned with our business objectives.
  • Develop and manage budgets for technology projects, ensuring that resources are effectively allocated to support our technological initiatives.
  • Drive innovation and ensure the continuous improvement of our product through research, development, and iteration; ensure quality checks
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and product management, to align technology development with business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain best practices for hardware and software development, ensuring scalability, reliability, security/compliance and infrastructure
  • Lead the operations ensuring efficient processes and document / process protocols
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence - hire top talent


Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in leading tech development; preferably both hardware and software; big plus if experience with wearables or health tech.
  • Strong understanding of both hardware and software development processes, including experience with embedded systems, sensor technologies, and mobile app development.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and rapid prototyping techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant technologies and trends, including software development methodologies, cloud computing, and cybersecurity
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for solving challenging problems and driving technological innovation.
