Back-end Developer with DevOps Experience

Aiomic is a pioneering startup at the intersection of data, AI, and life sciences, dedicated to reducing surgical complications through advanced machine learning, and we are at the forefront of utilizing data-driven insights to revolutionize surgical quality improvement. As we grow, we are looking for a skilled Back-end Developer experienced with development operations to join our dedicated team.

Aiomic is a multi-disciplinary dynamic team from tech, data science and medicine, presently part of the Novo Nordisk Foundation funded Bio Innovation Institute in Copenhagen. We maintain strong ties with leading universities and hospitals in our development.

Are you enthusiastic about the potential of data to drive advancements in surgical quality? Do you have a strong technical background, with experience in python backend development and DevOps, and a desire to contribute to bringing groundbreaking products to the market?

We are looking for a developer to help us connect the elements of our Aiomic360™ platform, and help deploy it to healthcare systems in Denmark and the US. We are working with sensitive patient health records, and the ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and deploying a secure python web backend that interfaces with our data pipelines and machine learning engine. Additional tasks may include development of data pipelines, including data collection, transformation and management. You will play a critical role in providing the foundation for our efforts to improve outcomes for millions of surgical patients worldwide.

Experience in backend development and development operations, is highly valued, although the position can be entry-level for the right candidate. Experience with data engineering is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Python programming
  • DevOps
  • Relevant education (m.sc. or equivalent)

Additional relevant experience:

  • MS Azure (and other cloud platforms)
  • Python data libraries such as PyTorch and TensorFlow
  • The Django web framework
  • Working with healthcare data (e.g. the FHIR standard)
  • SQL and noSQL databases
  • QMS procedures including VCS such as GIT
