Business Development Representative

Do you have a passion for business development and an interest in state-of-the-art defense and security solutions?

Copenhagen Sensor Technology (CST) specializes in the design and manufacturing of high-performance electro-optical solutions for demanding battlefield and surveillance applications. We are expanding our business development activities and therefore Copenhagen Sensor Technology is looking for a Business Development Representative who will be responsible for building and expanding CST’s customers base and partnerships.

To be successful as a Business Development Representative, you should have superior technical skills and excellent presales and interpersonal skills. Ultimately, a good Business Development Representative for this position is a person who is analytical and well-organized. You will work with the rest of the sales team to increase sales and develop new customers and partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Building long-term, strategic partnerships and new customers.
  • Making results with a strong focus on winning more business.
  • Evaluating customer needs to suggest solutions, development projects or new products.
  • Attending Industry conferences, exhibitions, and business development meetings.
  • Developing customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Providing reports and action plans to sales management.
  • You should expect a minimum of 60-80 travel days per year.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a person with:

  • A proven track record within international sales and business development.
  • A technical background or other relevant education.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within international sales and business development management.
  • Superior technical understanding and ability to learn about new products.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Extensive experience working in teams where interpersonal skills are important.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft CRM and Office Package.
  • A background from the electro-optical industry is an advantage.
  • A military/defense background is an advantage but not a requirement.
