For our office in Lyngby, we are looking for someone who wants to join our skilled accounting team as an International Senior Accountant. This role will support 3 different Dura subsidiaries currently and will grow to support additional subsidiaries in time.

Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for the month-end close process for all applicable subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with the Dura HQ accounting team on both timelines and quality expectations.
  • Serve as a key stakeholder in the participation and ownership of Transfer Pricing updates.
  • Play an active role in the preparation and review of the statutory financial statements, including working with external auditors/jurisdictions to ensure timely and efficient completion.
  • Collaborate with the various members of the accounting and finance team and think critically about current processes, ensuring that we’re always challenging the status quo and continually making process improvements.
  • Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts for all applicable subsidiaries, including intercompany activity.
  • Support the accounting manager with all accounting tasks for applicable subsidiaries (i.e. bank/treasury reporting to HQ, consolidated audit coordination, etc.)
  • Update and maintain conversion of financial information between US GAAP and IFRS/Local Regulation.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner not only within the accounting and finance team, but also cross-functionally with various departments.
  • Assist on relation ad hoc projects as necessary to make the overall team successful.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in both Danish and English.
  • HD1 degree or similar training
  • Proven ability to perform and be adaptable in a fast-changing/startup environment.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in accounting or finance, with a proven track record in a similar role.
  • Comprehensive understanding of GAAP and applicable financial reporting requirements.
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

You will be located with our team at Nordic IT in Lyngby. Our office is just a 10 minute walk from Sorgenfi Station at Lottenborgvej 26E, 2800 Kongens Lyngby, in an office hotel with a great canteen.
