Head of Accounting & Payroll for Denmark

We are looking for a Head of Accounting & Payroll for Denmark who will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Ensure compliance with accounting & payroll standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements
  • Coordinate with the group finance team and the shared service center in Lithuania
  • Support the budgeting, forecasting, and auditing processes
  • Provide financial analysis and advice to the management and stakeholders
  • Implement and improve accounting systems, processes, and controls
  • Stay updated on accounting trends and best practices
  • Drive the accounting part of our forthcoming implementation of Microsoft FO.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably as an auditor or in a similar role
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement
  • Knowledge of Jedox, a business intelligence and corporate performance management software, is an advantage but not a requirement
  • Knowledge of IFRS standards and compliance
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to learn
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities

The interview process:

The interview process will proceed as follows:

  1. Online screening interview with Senior Talent Acquisition Partner.
  2. On-site interview with Group Head of Accounting.
  3. On-site interview with Group CFO.
