Student Assistant in the Supply Chain Department

Your Job

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student worker to join our Supply Chain Department on a part-time basis (15-20 hours per week). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Excel, familiarity with Power BI and Power Automate, basic knowledge in SAP, and an aptitude for quickly grasping new software applications. The student worker will assist with various tasks related to data analysis, reporting, and process optimization within the supply chain.

Our Team

As a student worker you will be part of our Supply Chain Operations team with 7 dedicated colleagues. The team is overall responsible for controlling flow of materials and information in the supply chain, from and to suppliers, internally in PMC and onwards from and to our customers.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain reports using Power BI to visualize supply chain metrics and KPIs.
  • Assist in creating dashboards and executive summaries for management review.
  • Demonstrate a brief knowledge of Power Automate to streamline and automate repetitive tasks, enhancing overall efficiency in the department.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process optimization.
  • Assist in the implementation of automation solutions using Power Automate to streamline routine tasks.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the supply chain.
  • Purchasing of raw materials.
  • Suppliers contact and follow up on deliveries.

Who You Are

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software applications.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and contribute to the team.
  • You are fluent in English in both verbally and in writing.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions; PivotTables, and data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Basic understanding of Power Automate for process automation.
  • Some exposure to SAP or other ERP systems preferred.
