Corporate Communications Intern – Starting Fall Semester 2024

For the fall semester of 2024 FairWind A/S is looking for a talented intern to join our Communications team in Vejle, Denmark, and be a part of our exciting journey in the everchanging wind industry.

We operate in more than 40 countries and collaborate with over 1,500 technicians to handle our customers' projects on a global scale. We are seeking a student intern who is passionate about communication in a global organization, and wants to strengthen and develop FairWind's brand towards our stakeholders.

Your role as our Corporate Communications Intern:

As a Corporate Communications Intern at FairWind A/S, you will be involved in both internal and external communication. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating engaging internal stories from all corners of the company for FairWind's employees (via SharePoint)
  • Supporting ESG-related tasks, including data collection and reporting
  • Supporting our Marketing Department incl. updating the company website etc.
  • Proactively communicating the good stories about FairWind as a company to the outside world
  • Supporting daily tasks in the team, which may include research, press releases, and stock exchange announcements
  • Occasionally design and layout tasks in programs using the Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Various ad-hoc tasks across the organization.

During your internship, you can expect to:

  • Enhance your storytelling abilities
  • Gain experience in creating compelling content for various channels and audiences
  • Immerse yourself in the world of renewable energy within the wind industry, working with our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives and assisting in our efforts to promote sustainability and responsible business practices
  • Work on specific tasks independently, gaining practical writing experience.

It is very important to us that your internship experience is rewarding for you both in terms of your studies and on a personal level. You will receive thorough onboarding and training in a wide range of tasks and will always have the opportunity for guidance from colleagues and immediate supervisors. Furthermore, you will participate in departmental meetings, and get responsibility for your own tasks. We will, of course, provide the necessary resources and equipment.

Additional information:

  • The internship is for the fall university semester contract starting August 2024 and ending December 15th 2024 (adjusting to the beginning and ending of the university semester)
  • The internship is unpaid, but you will have access to a free, delicious lunch in our canteen and all transportation costs will be covered
  • The position will be approximately 30-37 hours per week (with flexibility for studies and exams)
  • The working location will be at our headquarters in Vejle, Denmark.
