Compliance Student Assistant

At HDI Denmark, we are looking for a Student Assistant to join our Compliance team who is motivated by working with data protection and compliance. You will become part of a dedicated and competent team that works with a wide range of tasks within areas such as compliance, governance and risk management.

Exciting tasks await you

This is a new role with HDI Denmark and pending on your educational background, you can help us define the role and the responsibilities and tasks.

As a student in HDI, you will become an integrated part of the team. You will report to, and assist, the Compliance Manager in the administrative processes related to compliance, governance and risk management, and we expect that you to bring your best.

The tasks will be varied and include:

• Staying ahead of the curve of new legislation, analysing our current state and offer ideas for improvements and implementation
• Analyse, develop, implement and maintain internal processes and policies, as well as create concrete suggestions to process improvements
• Creation and implementation of local guidelines and on-going re-evaluation of these
• Handling and evaluating incoming internal legal and compliance requests
• GDPR-related tasks together with our service provider and the rest of the organization as collaborators. This includes having an understanding of deletion policies and how data is processed internally.

You will work out of our Copenhagen-based office placed at the waterfront of Christianshavn and on an average, we expect you to work 15 hours per week.

What you bring

You are motivated by delivering excellent service and high data quality in your work.

• We imagine that you are at the end of your bachelor’s degree (stud.BA.jur, HA.jur or have just begun your masters (stud.cand.jur or cand.merc.jur)
• You have solid verbal and written communication skills
• You are detail-oriented and make a dedicated effort in everything you do
• You thrive in a role where you work independently and you describe yourself as a self-starter
• Even independent self-starters need a team – and you enjoy working in a team that has an outgoing approach towards others and to contribute to the collaboration of our colleagues.
