At HDI Denmark, we are looking for an Assistant Underwriter, student, to join our team for Director’s & Officer’s liability insurance. You will become part of a dedicated and competent team that works with a wide range of tasks within insurance.

Exciting tasks await you

As a student in HDI, you will become an integrated part of the team. You will assist the Underwriters in the administrative processes related to underwriting of new and existing business, and we expect that you to bring your best.

You will report to the Business Owner for Director’s & Officer’s Liability and work out of our Copenhagen-based office placed at the waterfront of Christianshavn.

The tasks will be varied and include:

• Assisting and contributing to the underwriting of new and renewal business which includes customer analyses and reviews of financial statements
• Supporting with various data analysis, and development of a new IT system
• Monitoring of business area inbox with primarily external inquiries
• Issuing and adjusting of insurance policies and certificates

On average, we expect you to work 15-20 hours per week.

• You are currently studying a bachelor’s degree within Law, Business Administration or similar
• You have solid verbal and written communication skills
• You are detail-oriented and make a dedicated effort in everything you do
• You enjoy working in a team that has an outgoing approach towards others
• You will contribute to the collaboration with our business partners and customers
