QHSE Manager

We are seeking a QHSE Manager who is passionate about establishing a robust safety and quality culture and implementing best practices to join our dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities

As the QHSE Manager at Green Therma, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the leadership team in developing, managing, and monitoring the company's QHSE performance
  • Monitoring and advising on all QHSE matters to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, company and contractual requirements, and industry best practices
  • Cultivating and maintaining strong customer and supplier relationships and liaising with customers and the supply chain to ensure QHSE expectations are met
  • Managing the company’s QHSE system and procedures to maintain accreditations
  • Conducting audits to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and procedures, and identifying and implementing improvements
  • Managing and monitoring emergency procedures, signage, PPE, COSHH control, etc.
  • Reporting on the company’s QHSE performance to the leadership team and statutory authorities as required
  • Creating and executing project work plans and revising them to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Conducting QHSE training courses using internal and external resources when required
  • Staying informed about evolving industry QHSE regulations and best practices and applying them to the company’s operations
  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for QHSE matters
  • Resolving and/or escalating issues in a timely fashion
  • Liaise with Authorities on QHSE regulatory and compliance requirements

Professional Qualifications and experience

We are seeking a QHSE professional with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Proven experience in a highly regulated industry such as Industrial Automation, Process, Oil & Gas, Power Generation, or suppliers to these industries
  • Knowledge of drilling processes onshore is an advantage
  • Excellent and current knowledge of Quality Management Systems
  • Strong leadership skills to drive safety and quality improvements
  • A hands-on implementer of processes and change
  • Consistently acknowledges and appreciates each team member's contributions
  • Motivates team members to work together efficiently
  • Excellent motivational and people skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to maintain company integrity through confidentiality and discretion
  • Ability to promote the company and associated organizations
  • Willingness to travel as required to be present at construction sites and to meet customers and other business partners
  • Experience in implementing and managing Quality Management Systems
  • Quality Assurance qualification from an accredited body or through experience
  • NEBOSH or similar qualification
  • Knowledge of the power, gas, and offshore industry is desirable
